Panthers continue adding to D, sign safety Fuller

The Panthers agreed to a one-year contract with safety Jordan Fuller on Friday.

The Carolina Panthersmade another addition to their defense Friday, signing safety Jordan Fuller.

Terms were not disclosed but a source told ESPN that Fuller received a one-year contract.

Fuller will replace Vonn Bell, who was released Wednesday.

Bell signed with the Cincinnati Bengalson Friday and said he will have the 2024 matchup between the Bengals and Panthers at Carolina circled on his calendar.

"Bulletin-board material," Bell said.

Fuller, 26, started all 17 games for the Los Angeles Ramsduring the 2023 season, and his three interceptions were tied for the Rams' team lead.

Fuller finished the season as one of 11 players in the NFL who forced six or more turnovers. He had three forced fumbles and three interceptions.

Fuller, the Rams' sixth round pick in 2020, has played in 48 regular-season games, starting 46. He quickly earned a starting spot as a rookie but dealt with injuries in 2021 and 2022.

In four NFL seasons, Fuller has 7 interceptions, 4 forced fumbles, 17 passes defended and 279 total tackles.
